During the show our Chief Operating Officer hosted a panel discussion on improving the productivity of mobile workers. Lots of interesting viewpoints were shared by leaders from companies like AT&T and Cox Communications. Many field service organizations are empowering their field service engineers with mobile field service apps, like our Alliance Mobile Edge, to boost their productivity and efficiency. Another challenge mentioned was the challenge of connectivity. A mobile field service solution like ours can work both offline and online and synchronize data automatically when connectivity is restored. This type of seamless work capability is needed when technicians enter customer sites that either do not have, or do not allow, wifi, 3G, LTE or other internet connections.
